6 Injured in 4 Car Crash in Van Nuys
Just after midnight on March 10, 2015, at the intersection of Van Nuys Blvd. and Victory Blvd., a car traveling at “freeway speeds” caused a four caraccident after running a red light. As a result of the speeding vehicle running the red light the driver of a Volkswagen Passat collided with a Chevrolet Trailblazer and caused it to overturn leaving two people trapped inside. Subsequent to the initial collision two other vehicles, a minivan and a Toyota, also crashed and both drivers were injured as a result.
Do the parties injured by the conduct of the driver of the Volkswagen Passat have any legal grounds to recover for their injuries and related damages?
They most likely do. Depending on the outcome of the Los Angeles Police Department’s investigation the individuals may have a legal basis for filing a lawsuit for wrongful injuries sustained. In a wrongful injury lawsuit the injured parties file an action, a lawsuit, to recover damages associated with their injuries, their medical treatment and related claims.
